   Love it! One wants to write a story around just this image. One can imagine a life beyond that door, a family, its ways of being, children… laughter, tears, death, weddings… life as it is in its details. Lovely image. Now I must go write a poem! You’ve triggered me 🙂 haha

      Dear Craig , Thank you for your thoughts. Feel free to write , experience and share my work too.This image means al lot of me. It represents actually a life time fulfilled with life it self. Like the cracks and dark zones into it, they are often leading to a nice moment to look for or to look at. It is a hopeful or promising story for all of us. Though and for sometimes, we have to open the door. I am blessed because I saw a promising future looking at that door I created. Others are not.

      I understand. I had also in the back of my mind Kafka’s story of the Law where the young man comes to the gate, but there is a gatekeeper. He sits outside the door his whole life waiting to be let in. At the end he finally asks the gatekeeper why no one else has ever come to this door. The Gatekeeper who has been silent through it all says: “The door is only for you.” Then he opens the door goes in and closes it, leaving the man who is now almost dead and very old standing there at the door looking on.

      We all have many doors we face in life, and as you say it’s really only ourselves that keeps us from walking through them. 🙂
